I developed what I call the Nirvana Diet as a ‘diet for the mind’ because it provides the missing link to successful weight loss… mastering the ‘inner game’ – the psychology of successful weight loss that includes a powerful process of Guided Meditations and Hypnosis. The goal is to be thinner and feel more beautiful from within. This is how you lose weight, keep it off, feel great and finally break the cycle of relapse.
The Nirvana Diet provides tools to empower people to live a happier healthier life by showing them how to access their full potential.

The idea came to me fifteen years ago, when I had created one of the very first medical spas in New York City. As the marketing director, I was interested in the reasons women wanted to “change themselves,” and what they expected would be different by having procedures such as tummy tucks and liposuction. At that time, my interest was focused around outer beauty…the latest and best ways to achieve a more beautiful version of herself?
My job, quite literally, was to promote “outside beauty.” One of the things I noticed, however, was that women were coming for procedures that they thought would make them thinner or more attractive, but they’d leave with the same root issues and self-image they came in with. While they got what they wanted, they weren’t getting what they needed.
What that meant for many people was that it wasn’t just one tummy tuck and then you feel great about yourself. Their satisfaction, sense of self and enjoyment of life did not last, because everything else about their lifestyle and “life issues” had stayed the same. Nothing about the way they ate, what they did for work, fun, who they spent time with or how much they moved or laughed changed.
Then it just hit me one day. I realized you’ve got to address the underlying issues about your weight. There is a psychology to weight loss that was not being addressed. Questions like how you may not be living an authentic life and repeating unwanted patterns that led to your unhappiness was a major underlying cause to the weight gain. Your not feeling much of anything or empty. Your “whatever-it-is” that’s holding you back had to be addressed and resolved. To get what you want, you have to understand what is not working, why, and create a true lifestyle change or it will never be sustainable.
Because if you don’t, “it” always comes back. This is why 85% of diets fail and despite the things we want to be different we remain stuck. This is why it’s so hard to eat right when it’s really about something else. And this is why I’m totally convinced that we have to start with what’s going on inside our heads — and our hearts– first. That’s when it hit me…it needs to be a diet for the mind. So I began to study ways that have helped people change from the inside out. They weren’t always the typical things. But the typical approach of simply “eating less” and “exercising more” didn’t seem to work for many people. It seemed to me that there was room for improvement.
I became a certified hypnotherapist in 2000, and started developing a program for that “missing link” common to all diets. It’s really about self-esteem and trying to fill an inner need that food among other things cannot fill. It’s about feeling like you’re worth something and finding meaning in your life. Accepting yourself and knowing you are good. That you have gifts to share with the world.
I created the Nirvana Diet™ to empower people let go of the thoughts and habits that are no longer serving them, and to teach people how to really take ownership of the habits … be happier and healthier. Meditation, breath work, and mindfulness are all practices the Nirvana Diet™ teaches and designed to do just that. If you’ve never tried these practices before, you are in for a treat! With the Nirvana Diet™ system, I’ve helped hundreds of people literally “change their minds” about food, eating, even their entire lives – and lose weight permanently. So now, I help people lose weight and quit all kinds of other habits, and replace those old habits with new ones that add up to a new lifestyle… and a whole new life.
